A product called ‘Plaque Off’ was launched in 2006 in which the active ingredient is the same seaweed as Seagreens® Ascophyllum in our Food Granules and Culinary Ingredient. Within this type of seaweed, the important nutrients are the muco-polysaccharides, special carbohydrates unique to seaweeds.

These are also an important component in Seagreens® wild Pelvetia, the seaweeed used in our chewable Salad & Table Condiment product which can be chewed straight from the packet, used at the table instead of salt, or soaked in cold water for 6 - 8 minutes and added to salads and warm vegetables.
