Please join us at talks, meetings & exhibitions; we love to meet you.

Seagreens is a broad initiative, with our harvesting and production operations in the British Isles and Nordic region, the Seaweed Health Foundation for research, standards and public information in Edinburgh and London, Retail and Distribution Partners in several countries, and our head office in West Sussex. We organise or participate in relevant events and continue our scientific research with universities in Britain and elsewhere. We continue to pioneer a sustainable, world class seaweed industry in north west Europe which can be of great economic and nutritional value to world populations for years to come. Since the pandemic 'lockdown' began in 2019 events have been cancelled or postponed but we are gradually returning to plans and activities which have merely been delayed. These listed below are typical announcements.

Through these public events we discuss nutrition, foraging and food, the event highlighting how seaweed used as ingredients in nutrition and food products is becoming a valuable part of health and the daily diet. More than 1000 visitors annually can touch and taste the different species and try out many seaweed prodct from smoothies to soups, salads, breads and ready meals. Find out why and how they can add health and flavour to your daily diet. You might like to read Dietary Seaweed in Preventive Health by the Foundation's founder Simon Ranger, published in Positive Health online.
